Entering Fiji

Fiji’s entry conditions requires that all international travellers (including returning residents) undertake a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at an approved hotel, laboratory, or pharmacy within 72 hours of their arrival in to Fiji.

Through this portal – you can pre-book and pay for your Fiji RAT test. Please produce your test booking confirmation at the airport check-in to board your flight to Fiji.  If you have not booked a test before your arrival at the airport, this can still be done on your mobile device to receive an immediate booking confirmation.

You are free to choose where to book your test. If you are staying at a hotel, you can book with the hotel or a listed private laboratory or pharmacy. Please note that costs may vary.

Travellers 12 years and above will be required to undertake the in-country RAT.

See Fiji Entry conditions here.

You may be liable to a fine of up to FJ$1,000 if you fail to undertake the COVID-19 in-country test under the Public Health Act 1935.

Transit Travellers

If transiting, you may do so if you have a valid outward ticket within 72 hours of arrival, are fully vaccinated, and have a negative COVID-19 test, which may be a PCR or rapid antigen test, that is required for entry into the country of your final destination.

If the transit is 48 hours or more, travellers need to have a confirmed RAT in Fiji within 48-72 hours after arriving.

However, travellers do not require a confirmed RAT in-country if:

  • Transiting under 12 hours for onward travel; or
  • Disembarking and clearing customs due to onward travel that requires overnight stay for afternoon flight arrivals or transit time of more than 12 hours but not exceeding 48 hours; or
  • Traveller has a fit to fly or proof of isolation within 30 days of travel
  • The fit to fly medical certificate needs to have the following information: date of onset symptoms, date of testing positive, date of cessation of symptoms; and release date from isolation.
All EntrytestFiji bookings must be made within 72hrs of arrival. RAT bookings made at CFC hotels/resorts are only available to guests who also have an accommodation booking. If you are not staying at a CFC resort during 72hr test window, please book a test at a test facility near your place of residence. Only travellers 12 years and above will be required to undertake the in-country RAT.
